How has war evolved from the past to the present?
War has indeed changed a lot from the past to present. The reasons and weapons used for war are different in the present from the past. For example, the wars in the chinese kingdoms in the past. Those wars were fought with swords and spears. At that time, guns were not invented. Even english countries at that time used swords to fight. When guns and bombs were invented, the way war was fought changed drastically. People started using guns and bombs to fight a war. This actually caused more destruction than in the past. Chemical bombs were also used and these could affect many people for their lives. Besides the obvious change of usage of weapons, there was also change in why war was fought. In the past, war is usually fought for power and resources. Now times have changed. People do not fight a war to get power or resources but for freedom or democracy instead.
Therefore, I can conclude that war has evolved through the weapons used, the reasons and the increase of violence and destruction.

Hiya I agree with you that war has indeed become more violent and have the ability to kill more people. Your blog prompt is generally well thought out and has a good flow. Well done!
However, I would like to point out that in modern days, war is fought for democracy only on a surface level but more often than not, war arises more from superpowers who are greedy for money and natural resources. America's invasion of Iran is a perfect example to illustrate my point.
Hi i'm Colin. I agree with what you say about the changes in war but what about the motive for the wars? You did not really discuss about them much. You should consider Wei Sean's comment and other than that, you have covered much of the stuff. I agree with you that as time passes from time to time, with the technologies improving from time to time, the way war was fought changes. We no longer use our bare hands to fight but instead, use technologies such nuclear bomb and machines to fight the battle for us as we sit back and watch them fight.
I agree with both Colin and Wei Sean's points. You should elaborate more on why certain wars are fought, who initiated the war, and how the wars are fought. Furthermore, there is a lack of examples given such as the different wars that happened in the past, and those that are happening in the present.
